Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct

Pelagus 3D is committed to conducting its business with reliability, honesty, credibility, and integrity. We expect all employees, officers, consultants, and agents acting in the Company’s name, to maintain high standards and to uphold the values and behaviours in accordance with our Code of Conduct.

Compliance with the Law
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is, for us, an essential basic principle of responsible business conduct. We adhere to legal prohibitions and requirements at all times, even if this involves short-term business disadvantages or difficulties for the Company or individuals. Where national laws or regulations are more restrictive or more stringent than the rules applying at Pelagus 3D, the national laws or regulations will take precedence.

Fair Competition and Prohibition of Bribery and Corruption
Our conduct on the markets is based on our compliance commitment. Pelagus 3D stands for technological competency, innovation, customer orientation and motivated, responsible employees, and these factors are the basis of our high reputation and the long-term economic success of Pelagus 3D in global competition. Corruption, bribery, and antitrust violations threaten these success factors and Pelagus 3D adopts a strict zero-tolerance policy towards such conduct. For us, bribes and cartel agreements are not a means of winning business. We would rather forgo a contract and fail to reach internal goals than act against the law.

Preventing Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing
Pelagus 3D fulfills its legal obligations to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing, and does not participate in, or condone the participation in, such activities. We expect all employees to fully comply with all applicable anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) laws and regulations.

Trade Compliance
Pelagus 3D complies with all applicable international and national laws and regulations relating to trade compliance, including sanctions, export controls and import controls. We expect all employees to comply with such restrictions and carry out the stipulated procedures (e.g., regular screening against sanctions lists) as required.

Avoiding Conflict of Interest
At Pelagus 3D, business decisions are made exclusively in the best interests of the Company. Any conflicts of interest – actual, potential or perceived – with personal matters or other business or non-business activities, including those of relatives or other related parties should be avoided. Should such conflicts nevertheless arise, we expect employees to resolve the issue in accordance with the law and Pelagus 3D’s policies and procedures, including through declarations and recusals. Conflicts must be dealt with openly and transparently.

Sustainability and Protection of Environment and Climate
For us, sustainability, environmental and climate protection and resource efficiency are key corporate objectives. When developing new products and services and when operating production equipment, we ensure that all environmental and climate impacts are kept to a minimum and our products make a positive contribution to environmental and climate protection for our customers. Every employee bears responsibility for conserving natural resources and helping to protect the environment and climate through their individual behaviour.

Confidential Information and Data Protection
Pelagus 3D is committed to compliance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws and regulations. The protection of personal data, in particular of employees, customers and suppliers, is of strict importance to Pelagus 3D. We take the necessary steps to appropriately protect confidential information and business documents from access and inspection by unauthorised colleagues and other third parties. Personal data may be collected or processed only where permitted by law or with the consent of the person concerned. We expect all employees to treat and handle all data – in particular, personal data and business-sensitive data – with the appropriate level of confidentiality and security.

For further questions relating to the Code of Conduct, all employees as well as third parties (customers, suppliers, etc.) may also contact our central e-mail address: info@pelagus.com.

Whistleblowing Policy
All employees and external stakeholders are encouraged and expected to report of any suspected fraud or corrupt conduct or any other form of inappropriate behaviour including potential violations of our Code of Conduct. The Company will take every reasonable precaution to keep the identity of anyone raising a concern confidential. The company has a firm policy of non-retaliation against employees or other persons who make a report based on reasonable grounds. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence to the extent permitted by law. Reports of potential violations of the Code of Conduct may be submitted through email to Kenlip.Ong@pelagus.com or Thomas.Hufnagel@luther-lawfirm.com.
