Creation of a Circular Economy: Valve Use Case
Through our collaboration with Yinson GreenTech, we are demonstrating the practical application of circular economy principles within the maritime industry. It outlines how advanced additive manufacturing techniques, including metal 3D printing with recycled metal powder, are utilized to produce essential maritime components while significantly reducing material waste.
The project further emphasizes the transition from conventional physical inventory systems to a digital inventory model, whereby components are stored as digital designs and manufactured on demand, thereby minimizing inventory costs, lead times, and surplus production.
